Bike Fitting
Improve Your Comfort & Performance
We're currently in the process of training a new fitting specialist here at Stedman's Bike Shop. During this transition, we are temporarily pausing our one-on-one bike fittings, which are typically done by appointment and include a more in-depth evaluation and adjustment process.
In the meantime, we’re still offering bike sizings—quick, in-store adjustments to things like saddle height, reach, and stack.
A full bike fit usually includes:
Initial Assessment – A conversation about your riding style, goals, and any current discomfort or injuries
Off-Bike Analysis – Evaluating flexibility, range of motion, and body alignment
On-Bike Observation – Reviewing pedaling mechanics and posture on a static trainer
Key Adjustments – Saddle height and tilt, handlebar reach and height, cleat placement, and stem length
We appreciate your patience and look forward to resuming full fitting services very soon. In the meantime, if you have questions about what’s covered in a fit vs. a sizing, need help with a specific issue, or just want to talk through your options, feel free to reach out by phone or email—we’re happy to help however we can!

We are currently in the processes of on-boarding a fit specialist here at Stedman's Bike Shop. We expect to start fittings in the coming months. Keep checking here for the latest news or call us if you have an interim question.
If the Shoe Fits
For maximum power transfer on the road or trail and for exceptional comfort on a spin bike, we recommend clipless cycling shoes and pedals. With stiffer soles and the ability to click into and out of your pedal system easily, cycling shoes make your ride and your workout more efficient, more effective, and more comfortable. Never get stuck in a toe cage again!
