Rides & Events

Welcome to the 2024 season of group rides sponsored by Stedman's Bike Shop

These rides leave the shop weekly and are open to the public. All participants must complete a 2024 Season Rider Registration (once a year).

NEW FORM

Scheduled rides and their start times are posted in the calendar below. We ask that you “sign up” for individual rides. This allows the Stedman’s ride leaders to know how many riders will be participating in the various ride groups offered. To sign up, select the ride in the calendar, then select the event registration and information link, complete and submit the short form.

On ride day, please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park in other business’ parking lots. Parking in the immediate area is available on Main Street, Woodruff Ave and also west on Main St behind the comfort station where the bike path crosses. Assemble ride groups on the sidewalk and not in the road so as to not impede traffic on Woodruff Ave.

(Be sure that your email spam filters allow email from info@stedmansbikeshop.com as we use this account to provide ride info at times)

Thursday Shop Ride

Stedman's Casual Pace Ride (CPR) - Thursdays

FIRST RIDE 2 MAY- Meet us at Stedman's. 6:15pm Roll out!

With a new riding season comes a new name and a new format for our Thursday evening rides! This will remain a "social" ride but will start at different locations and at different times. Ride routes will vary, but will typically be around 16 miles long and last around an hour. At this pace, conversations are encouraged while getting a basic level of fitness squeezed in.

The where's and when's:

Second Thursday of each month:  6PM Start/End at Tower Hill Brewing in South County Commons

Last Thursday of each month:  6PM Start/End at Shaidzon Beer Co. outdoor beer garden in West Kingston

All other Thursdays: 6:15PM Start/End at Stedman's Bike Shop

On brewery days,  you are welcome to help us support these local businesses after the ride. Both offer non-alcoholic beverages as an alternative.

See calendar below for these events. Click on the event for all info, registration, & downloadable route.
